Cancellation policy

Some items in our store may be offered to you as a subscription, a pre-order or try before you buy. This cancellation policy lays out how you can change or cancel these kinds of purchases.
Subscriptions
When you purchase a subscription you'll receive repeat deliveries. These are based on the subscription duration and frequency that you select.
Your payment details will be stored securely and you'll be charged for each of these deliveries, unless you choose to pay in advance.
Some subscriptions may auto-renew at the end of their duration. If you don't want to renew a subscription you can cancel it.
If you want to cancel or change your subscription, you can do it at any time. Your order confirmation emails have links to your order. You can manage your subscription from there.

Pre-orders
When you purchase a pre-order, you are buying an out-of-stock or soon-to-be-available product not yet in inventory. We may collect no payment or a partial deposit at checkout, store your payment method, then fulfill and charge the full or remaining payment at a future date.
You can cancel a partially paid pre-order order that has not yet been fulfilled. If the order has been fulfilled, then you can't cancel the order, but you can request a full or partial refund. See our returns policy for more details on returns and refunds.
Try before you buy
When you purchase a try before you buy item, we authorize your payment method before fulfilling the order. You will have a certain amount of time to decide if you want to keep the item. Once the time period has passed, if you have not returned the item, we will charge your payment method for the full amount.Purchase Options

1. Direct Purchase (Online or Invoice)
Customers can buy LEDI watermakers directly through lediwatermaker.com or via an issued invoice. Full payment is required before dispatch. All prices are in AUD.

2. Pre-Orders / Backorders
If stock is unavailable, customers may reserve a unit with a 20% deposit.
The remaining balance is due before shipment. Delivery timeframes are provided at order and updated if needed.

3. Dealer & Trade Orders
Approved dealers access wholesale pricing and MOQ requirements.
Payment terms:
• 50% deposit to confirm the order
• 50% prior to shipment
Dealer deposits are non-refundable once paid.

4. Custom or Bulk Builds
Custom configurations, fleet orders, or special builds require a 30% non-refundable deposit. Production begins immediately after payment.

Cancellation Policy

Standard Orders (In-Stock Products)
– Cancellations are allowed before dispatch for a full refund.
– Once dispatched, the order becomes a return (see Returns section).
– Refusing delivery counts as a return.

Pre-Orders / Backorders
– Cancellations within 7 days of deposit qualify for a full refund.
– After 7 days, the 20% deposit is non-refundable due to production allocation.

Dealer Orders
– Dealer deposits are non-refundable.
– No cancellations once production or packing has started.

Custom or Special-Build Orders
– Custom orders cannot be cancelled after payment.
Components, machining time, and labour are allocated immediately.

Returns & Refunds

Change of Mind
Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery if the product is:
• Undamaged
• In original condition
• with original packaging
* only applicable to products purchased directly from LEDI

Refunds exclude outbound shipping.
Return shipping is at the customer’s cost.

Damaged or Faulty on Arrival (DOA)
If a unit arrives damaged or faulty, LEDI will repair, replace, or refund after assessment.
Return freight may be covered at LEDI’s discretion.

Used or Installed Equipment
Used, tested, or installed units are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.
Warranty coverage still applies.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days after the product is inspected and verified.

Warranty Linkage

All purchases are covered by LEDI’s 3-Year Limited Warranty, supported locally in Australia. Consumables are excluded.
